1. Copenhagen, Denmark

Visiting Copenhagen in winters is great for two reasons- a) experience a fairytale winter and b) get hotel deals for a steal. There are several things you can do such as hopping on to a canal cruise, visiting the popular Little Mermaid or having a nice, romantic evening at the 19th century Tivoli amusement park. If you just want to relax and enjoy the pristine snow around you, head to the cosy cafes and bars found in the city.
2. Andalucía, Spain

Yes you read it right! You can enjoy Spain even in the winter. Andalucia is a region covered with hills, rivers and farmlands in the southern part of Spain. Some must do’s- visit Parador de San Nicolás to watch a breathtaking sunset, take a stroll through Generalife- one of Spain’s best gardens and go to soak in the Spanish culture by watching a flamenco show in Seville.
3. Transylvania, Romania

This unique town is nothing like you have read in books or watched in movies. It is a rich representation of Romania’s culture. Definitely head to Bran Castle (aka Dracula’s castle) and Peles castle for its incredible beauty and history. The town offers a wide list of museums and churches to ‘feed’ the interests of all you culture geeks.
4. Rotterdam, Netherlands

The second-largest city in the country, Rotterdam is located in the southern part of the Netherlands. This city is known for its eccentric architecture- Markthal Rotterdam, Erasmus Bridge, Rotterdam Central Station and Grote of Sint-Laurensker are just a few from a very long list of points that you absolutely must visit.
5. Andorra

One of the smallest countries in Europe, this little gem has so much to offer. The country resides on the top of Mount Pyrenees right in between France and Spain, making it the perfect destination for snowboarding and skiing. After a long day of skiing, you can head to the amazing spas found even at the top of the mountain. Apart from this, Andorra is also home to three natural parks where you can spot bear wild boar, roe deer, golden eagles and bearded vultures.
